MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR JOE HILL
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 15 at Hollomon-Brown
on Tidewater Drive in Norfolk. Here is the obituary in its entirety:
Norfolk - Joe Elbert Hill, 51, of the 300 block of Glendale Ave., passed away on Thursday,
February 9, 2012. Born in Idaho, Joe retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service.
He was an avid bowler and a member of the Hampton Men's Choir. He is survived by two sisters
Cindy Wycoff and Patti Gray; three brothers, Marvin Hill, Jim Ferreyra and John Ferreyra;
six nieces, Christina and Stephanie Archie, Alisha Hill, Rosey Wycoff, Megan Holshouser and
Velma Holmes; three nephews, Adrian Archie, Aaron Hill and Johnny Holmes and a great niece,
Anessa Netter. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel where the family will receive friends the
hour prior. Burial will be private. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
